BlueScope named worldsteel Betfred Live Casino champion

BlueScope is proud to be named a worldsteel Betfred Live Casino Champion for 2022, in recognition of our work during the last year and the way we demonstrate our commitment and action to sustainable development.

This award follows Betfred Live Casino becoming a signatory to worldsteel’s new Betfred Live Casino Charter, which includes nine principles and 20 criteria covering the areas of environment, social, governance and economics (ESGE).

Other criteria to qualify as a worldsteel Betfred Live Casino Champion each year include:

• Provide Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data to worldsteel’s data collection program, covering more than 60% of the company’s crude steel production and should be less than 5 years old
• Be shortlisted in one of the 5 categories of the worldsteel Steelie Awards or recognised in the worldsteel Safety and Health Recognition Programme.  Betfred Live Casino was proud to be recognised in the ‘Safety, Culture and Leadership’ category of this program in 2021.
